The smoke here is atrocious! I went ahead and started my garden clean up anyway, trying to stay ahead of the game. Got a lot going on in the next couple months and chipping away at chores will ease the "crunch time" before winter. Staying positive, even though the air is like mud. A cold front and hopefully, rain is supposed to bring some relief! Eating pretty well, using lots of veggies from the garden and making sure I have adequate protein. Probably fat consumption is too high, but at least i don't do the sweets. I have way less aches and pains when I cut back on sugar. Well FS friends, time to get up and greet the day. Happy Saturday!

My friends in Oregon and Washington have been telling me how bad the smoke has been. Please take good care of yourself. We are all praying for rain for you!!

In Montana 40 counties were burning, and of course Glacier was burning for quite awhile and add that to Idaho, Washington and Oregon, it ain't pretty! I have kept my spirits up,but it is beginning to reek havoc on my body. We have had closer, hotter fires in the past, yet less smoke...but this time the smoke is really bad. visibility is under a mile and moving lower to the ground. Cold air and perhaps rain will help! Thanks for all the well wishes!
