Okay, so after weeks and months of jerking around with my food, I started the 4 hour body food plan and have stuck to it for the first week with out fail. Usually my biggest issue is that I dont want to carry my food with me and cook and shop. But I am finding that it is frugal, easy and tasty. My food journal will look boring and unbelievable, but I have been having protein, slow carbs (beans/lentils etc) in cold salad form and then veggies. usually broccoli, spinach, green beans or chard and a spinach omelette for breakfast and my late nite meal so Its not too heavy.
I have been feeling great, and have lost 13 lbs since july 21st. I am exercising moderately and working with a personal trainer at the gym,and my GI tract, though a bit noisy has never been in better shape, so to speak. It's moving in a timely manner and I feel better than I have in years!! My first goal is to get below 300lbs and stay there for an extended period of time.
My next goal will be 277lbs, which is the weight I was when I sailed aboard the Ocean Village 2, in May of 2008.
I hope to be below 250 by November so I can go back to do my medical at the dr's in Ftl and be ready to go to sea again!!
