I'm very interested to learn successful strategies in keeping weight off when you have reached your goal.

This is my third time I'm loosing quite a few stones, I get to my target weight and then put it all back again. It's soul destroying 😭

I have gone plant based, I am trying to limit eating windows and I am exercising daily....do I just keep this up?

Any advice from real life experiences appreacted 😀

I set an upper and lower (I wish!) limit. Once I start getting close to these I count calories again. I exercise regularly and consistently which helps maintain weight.

Thanks for the tips, sensible for regular weigh ins at least you can "nip things in the bud" instead of getting out of control.

I have always been slim, but put on half a stone in my mid twenties (I am now thirty-four) and always wanted to get back down to ten stone. I cut back to 1,800 calories for two weeks and shifted four pounds. I then went up to a maintenance diet of 2,300 calories (on average) per day. I exercise for at least thirty minutes a day (most days I do an hour) and go to the gym three to four times a week (I also swim once a week). The way I keep it off is to ensure I don't deny myself treats - as this leads to cravings. Instead, if I have a high-calorie day (like a meal out), I cut back 300-500 calories the next day to keep my average 2,200 - 2,300. I think this app is great for checking what you actually eat. Hope this helps.

I have no tips, but I just wanted to add moral support by saying I've experienced the same problem. No one talks about how to maintain after weight loss but it's a whole thing.

I think it takes a lot of discipline and organisation. So easy to fall back into your bad habits 😫
