Don’t restrict everything, 500cal deficit and take it slow. Find something that works for you that keeps your sanity so something sustainable. Restrictive diets don’t work long term :)

Thank you both <3..I've started with 15 min cardio (trying to do this daily) and the 500 calorie deficit.. Lets see if there's results by next month. Fingers crossed :)

Start by settling and end date for your weight loss “program” remember it’s a lifestyle change and not a diet. Put a date and that way you set your mind to something with an achievable time period. Then don’t give up in that period. Hope this makes sense somehow.

I went on holiday in Feb and really struggled to get back into rhythm, got my mindset right only 3 weeks ago, what really helped was meal prepping and sticking to my cheat day, when your meals are ready and waiting all you have to do is push to stick to them and cheat in moderation on your cheat day.

i went on a diët a few years back went from 134kgs to 110kgs. I left the diët and gained all of it back within 2/3 years. weigh then 132.9kgs. I didn't care about myself and gained, gained, gained. i ate wrong, didn't worry about weigh as I was a foodie and loved eating. I made a decision to lose weight because of my chronic illnesses and I don't want more illnesses to add because of my weight. i started January 2023, not with the diët mindet but to change my whole lifestyle, headspace and everything in between I wamt to feel better. I now see my previous diët as a lifestyle its something you must live by. Its a huge headmove. but its worth every second moment!! when u fail, get on again the next day dont leave it. now already lost more than 30+kgs and I'm still going. be positive. you can do it.

Make a challenge for yourself in reducing one bad habit at a time e.g.: (no, soda/coffee/juice/alcohol for 30 days and drink H20 instead). See what happens to your body weight, face, energy etc)
