ok don't look!
It was a good weekend. I healed a lot from gut problems I think, although have a UTI (as always) and I'm considering just going back every week for more urinalysis till they give me the all clear, rather than just taking the meds and going. I don't feel like what they're giving me is killing the bug. And sulpher meds are hard on your guts.
Meh.
It's weird. going off the diet, eating whatever I wanted for a long weekend (Happy birthday King Charles) made me remember why I don't eat carbs. The nausea. sigh. And the shivers. And the neuropathy all the way up my shins. for crying out loud. I guess it's good to have a challenge, now and again. I enjoyed the mandarins, and the kiwifruit, and the poached eggs on toast (cannot tolerate poached eggs without toast.) But maybe there's some middle ground. eg 1 poached egg on 1 piece of toast. One mandarin every day. Something like that. Less 'all or nothing'. Lots of things I didn't go full sugar on, eg I still only drink diet drinks or water. But I did eat 3 packets of haw flakes. By packets I mean 12 rolls per packet. :D Stopped logging because I couldn't find haw flakes and there were so many things I eat in NZ that require to be created/entered entirely and sometimes their ingredients aren't in english so I just gave up. I don't think I ate huge amounts of food, but I did eat frequently and I did eat a LOT of carbs.
Back on the chain gang now tho. 1.5kg.
