Not going to weigh in till Sunday. If it’s still the same weight on Sunday that will be 3 weeks of being stuck at the same weight. Hope not - and just going to try and focus on small goals each day and Sunday will be whatever it will. Nice run today even though I didn’t feel like going when I woke up. In the end was very happy I did and I felt much better afterward.

If it is not “triggering” for you, it is sometimes good to weigh a few times per week. That way you can have a little more data to try and spot a trend or anomaly, and then address it. This is also why it can be a good practice to weigh regularly, but only focus on the trend number, and not the “moment in time” number. Best of luck with your goal regardless of how you decide to tackle it.

Thanks stomach monkeys. You are right about the weighing in throughout the week. And I usually weigh in everyday day but only record one a week or ten days. Just a bit frustrated with the current stall - so trying to get my mind off it. Not giving up on the plan though or on sticking to my daily nutrition goals.

I hear you. Sometimes progress looks like a staircase. And sometimes those landings in that staircase can feel huge. Keep doing the right things and you’ll get through it. 😁

I know this sounds like an obsession but I record my weight everyday on a separate spreadsheet - and only post here the average of 7 days... Sunday for me is kind of my "cheat day" so usually on Monday I don't really have the best result - if I recorded only my Mondays, I'd be very discouraged to continue. Another thing people usually suggest is to use other measurements - because not all progress can be measured only in weight. When I was stuck a few weeks ago, I was losing fat but gaining muscle - and I could only see it when measuring my waist.

*hugs* I've given up weighing myself anymore. I use the app to control my sugar intake (less likely to indulge if I have to write it down). No one has any answers as to why my body hangs on to the weight. All my other numbers are within the healthy range, and I don't have pain symptoms.

Don't worry, you've just hit a plaueau, your body is fighting the weight loss, think of it this way, when you're not losing weight, you're probably losing inches. 😉
