Bah. That devil on my shoulder got to me. Ate a very nice breakfast (not a protein shake for a change - proper eggs, mushroom, spring onion and cheese omelet with a slice of peameal bacon on the side. It was great. Early in the afternoon the cravings kicked in, still fought them and made a veggie/turkey bites charcuterie board with a mini hummus as a dip It was nice. Fast forward a bit later and they came back with a vengeance. John had left an opened Costco sized bag of Ruffles potato chips around so I had some. That didn't satisfy the craving so I had a mini dark chocolate bar. All I can say is the ruffles were disgusting. Salty greasy and didn't reward whatever in me thought needed rewarding. The chocolate on the other hand did the job.
After 2 full months of eating clean, home cooked,whole food, my body is far more sensitive to salt and grease. Felt quesy afterwards and have a rumbly tummy this morning. The impact of having had those things meant no proper dinner or my evening snack.
Not sure what came over me the past couple of days but it seems to be gone now.
Trying to get to the root of what led to the cravings in the first place. Might be stress induced with tax deadlines. Well that was yesterday and today is a new start.

Anyways, time to pitter patter. Having the winter tires changed over to summers, then out of town to the foot doctor, then off to the gym. Go away you little devil beast on my shoulder. This body has a long journey ahead of it still to be able to get rid of blood pressure meds and statins.
