Apologies journal for not posting. A busy couple of days with last minute tax filing for a couple of friends(May 1 in Canada this year.
Yesterday I went to the gym. A good workout but nearing the end, started to think of my next tasks. One was to hop into bulk barn 2 doors from the gym to pick up some more wild rice. If you've never been to bulk barn here in Canada, it is a great place to pick up single person, self scoop quantities of everything from staples to baking goods and on the down side sweet and savoury snacks. For some strange reason I started fixating on spearmint gummie leaves as I was counting my reps. I really, really, really wanted some spearmint gummy leaves. So I finished my routine, got dressed, speed walked to the car and bypassed Bulk Barn altogether. Had a salad and turkey slices instead when I got home with an apple as my "sweet". Still really wanted the gummies though.
Happy that I exercised self control. So a win overall. Where does that craving devil come from?
