Hello all!!! Well, with all that is going on this summer, I am not doing atkins anymore.. I am following a few things.. I am more apt to measure more and be more conscious of what I am eating.. I am still going down in weight, just not the atkins way.. 11 days in I was shaking and lightheaded, dizzy, and very very tired.. I am sure that it works for a lot of people, and I am very glad for these people. I never really ate bad, I don't care for junk food, however, I did like my carbs. I have curved a lot on my potatoes, pastas, breads.. I am a whole wheat person to begin with, and have learned that I can make a cauliflower look like mashed potatoes and my family loves it. I don't eat much fruit to begin with, however, I do love my fruit once in a while.. As Long as I am losing I am ok with this new change.. I have never had a problem with my blood sugars or bp or cholesterol. I am an over all healthy person.. I have a Dr.s apt next month.. I have been working hard on losing weight.. I don't have a problem losing weight if I buckle down and do what I know I am suppose to.. I have taken up a lot of out door hobbies.. Kayaking is my most favorite.. =o) Anyways, I would like to keep you all as friends.. YOu have been a great help.. Thank you so much.. Tiffanie
