With my 2nd child, I gained more weight than I should have. After some years, I was able to lose it, and I vowed not to follow in my mothers obese footsteps. In spite of being an emotional eater, I did manage to keep it off for several decades. However, when my mother passed away, followed by my father, just one year later, the emotional eating reared its head big time. I stopped taking the time to create healthy meals and just started grabbing whatever was handy. In the grieving process, I stopped caring about it. 30 pounds later, I'm feeling low in energy. As well as disappointed that I let myself go. It's time to heal, and once more get a handle on my health.
