SlimChick's Journal, 06 Aug 09

Eating fewer calories a day, and eating healthier than I was eating before I started. But I'm still not eating as healthy as I want to eat. I tend to snack on small servings of "evil" foods (pizza, energy drinks, cheesecake bites, etc) which add too many carbs. The problem is, these seem to be the only foods that actually make me feel like I've eaten. I'm going to break down and buy some kind of protein powder and maybe that will help.

I know what you mean. My problem is grabbing little bites of my children's food after they have eaten and left their plates half-eaten. My youngest son likes waffles with peanut butter on them for breakfast, for example. Often you will see in my food journal that I have eaten part of a waffle and peanut butter! :-) Darn it. By the time I am done picking at his leftovers, that has to suffice for my breakfast in order not to over do my calorie intake! It's a bad habit that I really, really need to break.
