Ok, so this bothers me....no calorie sweeteners are eating up my carbs for the day! I know we are not supposed to have more than 4 a day, but I have a sweet tooth and the artificial sweetener helps me with the cravings. I LOVE my coffee (with sweetener) my Iced tea also , with sweetener. Ugh...not happy.

It's just a matter of easing yourself off. I just made a a switch from Coffee and tea to water with Mio Energy. Good for the Caffeine, and NO carbs. And it's just sweet enough to make me feel like I'm not drinking plain ol' water. Now, I have worked my way to the point I can have plain water and it doesn't bother me. And I have had coffee or tea or soda in a month. Baby Steps. You'll figure out whats right for you!!!

I think Mio uses Sucralose... honestly not sure where that falls in line. Something like Splenda...maybe. I try an stay away from Aspertaine that's the worst one of all. The others don't worry me too much. But, I do understand the concern for it. If coffee is you Worst problem, you'll be fine. :)

Liquid Stevia... Use it to make my giant pitcher of sweet tea (I'm from the south... the ONLY way to drink it), have used it for cooking, take it with me in my purse when we eat out so I am not tempted to get soda. LOVE it!

Stevia is the right choice if you want to sweeten something as it is made from a real plant, your body will be able to recognize it and digest it properly. I myself love sweets but find that even a little bit of sweetness in my foods makes me want to have more sweets. Good luck!

Maybe try using 1/2 a packet in each cup of coffee instead a whole packet. When I followed Atkins I got used to cutting the dose of sweeteners in half, and after the first day or two I got used to it and when I stopped followed the diet using the regular dose that I had before was almost too sweet...just a suggestion...it would cut your net carbs for artificial sweeteners in half.

The liquid stevia has no carbs, but the packets have carbs. I like Stevia, but I agree that you should attempt to cut your use in half. You could also try to find flavored teas that have a natural sweetness and you might not even need to add anything. I really love vanilla roobios and I don't need to add anything. I have a sweet tooth too.
