Day 3 of my 5 day fast I have noticed on day 2 that I felt like eating 🍱 around 11am and 5pm , this did not surprise me as I usually eat around these time in the afternoon and night.
The big thing came this morning i was tired and felt a little dizzy 🥴 when waking up, but that just told me that my body has now entered into the ketosis fase. I drank a cup of black coffee and ice 🧊 cold water then went back to bed 🛏️ for an hour or so, after that nap I felt great.

The idea behind water fasting is that you are tricking the body into burning fat stores because there isn't any sugar available for it to use as fuel.
On day 1 I drank only water 💧 but got tired of that really quick, so I decided to mix it up.
Day 2 I drank rooibos cooled and warm.
Day 3 I mixed ginger powder in with the rooibos tea and that made a big difference to taste.
On the 5 fast you consume no foods and no beverages that contain any calories whatsoever.
