I've been working out hard after a long time without training, but my guess is that since I'm taking creatine again that made a difference on the reading of my muscle mass on the scale. But definitely could just be that the scale is crappy like you said. Could you clarify?

Oh, thank you for letting me know, so I won't waste my time, hehe.
I actually wouldn't mind hearing someone else's opinion (if they know what they are talking about).
I have been working out really hard, till failure, 6x a week and eating with extreme discipline, counting macros and all. My body type is endomorph and I know I can gain mass easily but 700gr was a surprise, hehe. Not too worried about it though as I know I'm doing what I should...
