My first entry: "I've going through a little bit of a rough patch. The whole year, actually."
When I look back at the past year, I realize how hard I've been on myself. I went through a lot of stress and life changes that affected my health quite a lot. My dad almost passing away, finding my career path was pointless, letting go of many friends/family, and Grandma breaking her hip. Taking care of Grandma was difficult because sitting/watching TV all day with her and cooking her a SAD diet wasn't the best for my own health. Her family also likes to guilt/mock people for their food choices if you don't eat the same way they do. I think deep down they feel guilty about their own choices. I also got diagnosed with ATOS and have slipping rib issues. I had to give up Yoga for the time being, and that truly saddened me.
But now..."how the turntables."
Grandma needs less assistance now, so I don't have to be there with her most of the day. I've found a way to exercise through dancing, stationary biking, and bouncing on the mini trampoline. Occasionally, I'll play some Beat Saber because I'm still a nerd at heart. I'm also meditating again because my mind needs love too. I want to have my energy back, so I can enjoy life to its fullest. I'm ready to make small changes every day so I can better support my partner, work on my goals, and help others without depleting myself.
I am supported I am empowered I am loved
