I started the day off really well and then lunch time rolled around and we were out and about so we wanted to go out. We decided to sit down at Ruby Tuesdays. My intention were really good but I ordered the salad bar and 2 mini turkey burgers combo. With my salad, I did pretty good ... I didn't add any crutons, eggs, olives, carrots ... tried to keep it pretty low in calories and then put a small amount of their balsamic dressing on. I also got a scoop of some of their other salads ... but stayed away from the potatoe salad. When my burgers came ... I made sure I had broccolli instead of fries and I scooped the mayo off both and only ate the bottom buns ... discarding the top. My problem began when I started picking at my moms onion straws and my daughters mashed potatoes. So ... at that point I just felt I had eaten all of my points for the day and that I would just stay away from food for the rest of the day. Well I decide to make some dessert for the evening and cooked chocolate cupcakes ... topped them with frosting and peanut butter and then added a piece of a peanut butter cup to top each one. Let me just tell you that they were delicious! Grrr ... oh well ... hopefully tomorrow will be better!
