Jeff H's Journal, 24 Jul 09

Ok...today my calorie and fat intake was WAY over the limit due to a work related picnic...I ate several burgers and hot dogs that I definitely did not need but since I have been sticking to my 2000 calorie diet religiously for the past 2 months I decided to cheat today...so far I have taken is 2400 calories and 90+ grams of fat and I have not even had dinner yet. So by the time the day is over I would have taken in almost 2700 calories. Tomorrow is suppose to be my gym day off but after today I will be hitting the cardio tomorrow to try and burn off some excess calories from today.

I really have found that not setting a number per day but rather shooting for a deficit based on my level of activity has helped me tremendously. You might give that a shot. I always say just keep the arrow Green...Take it Easy

if you cheat only once every 2 month, I'm sure it won't show on the scale. and you are still under your calories burned... I can't hardly wait to receive the "eat right 4 your type" book. I also bought the "cook right for your type" book. I'm trying hard to follow this diet, but without references, or more precise guidelines, I feel blind! do you have the books? if not, keep an eye on my journal I will post as soon as I receive them! Thanks for your comment on my journal! I don't feel bad to stick to 114, actually I'm amazed to be able to maintain that long, with all the changes in my diet... going under this weight would be unwise. I really work on a toned body, well, I'm trying...
