It took some work but this has all become much easier and sustainable. Getting rid of the foods and ingredients that I don’t want has killed my cravings for them. I don’t miss bread, processed sugar, or pasta at all. When you are eating a lot of vegetables, fish, chicken, you can eat a lot of food and still lose weight.
Exercise has gotten routine enough that I don’t feel like I have to “make” myself do it. All walking up to now but did a half hour of intervals on the exercise bike yesterday. Time to start throwing around the kettlebells this week.
Now all I need is time. I’m the blink of an eye it will be spring and I won’t be fat any more :-)

I gave up the bread, pasta, and stuff with added sugars, too. It's such a simple swap for veggies. Our moms would be so proud 😄. You nailed it on the head about making the exercise a habit. Just like brushing our teeth, the energy expended is more than worth the results. Cheering you on through the holidays!

Fox, hard? Well maybe in the beginning but not too bad. The sugar and caffeine took a bit but after that it got easier. I would say about a month before I knew I would succeed. I am an all or nothing kind of guy so I can’t dabble.
