Can't believe the scales. My gut has almost gone. My belt buckle does up 2 notches more than it did but the scales just keep me hovering or gaining. I hardly ever go above 60% RDI with a fairly even mix of fat/protein/fibre. Wine is my downfall but I have even cut that right back. Not had tea/coffee for nearly a month or any added sugar in anything.

also potentially water retention, but maybe this would show up around the belt buckle too. i know that weight can stall if youre retaining water,especially if you had an extended period of under calorie days. When it happens to me, Solution is to have one spoil day where you go slightly over your calories, mix the food up a bit on this day, a little bit of good fats,carb,protein and maybe a beer or two. A day or two later your body will release its water as it now assumes the starving period is over and that it doesnt have to retain the water anymore. If you only go 1000 calories over on this spoil day, you can make that back in 3 days. but if you keep in 'starve' mode you body will keep some water back and weight will stay the same. (Google "Whoosh" days :)

just read your RDI of 60%, so the whoosh thing may apply to you. spoil yourself for one or two days and then go back to diet. Past 4 weeks Ive been going well Monday to Friday, then spoiling Sat/Sun, and still losing weight

More muscle ?? I don't want more muscle hence I refrain from too much exercise. I am really quite trim apart from my gut and my man boobs. :) There is no fat on my legs/arms/bum.

BFB i'm not sure "why not weight", i have come to realise our bodies are fickle stubborn creatures and just like to confuse sometimes!! ;)
