Chris1979's Journal, 09 Jun 11

I didn't weigh myself this morning. I think I will do it on Saturday when I'm officially 33 weeks along. A friend of mine has her C-section scheduled 17 days from now. She had a C-section with her first baby and she is very petite so they aren't giving her the chance for a VBAC. I'm jealous that she only has 2.5 weeks left but I'm not jealous of the C-section. I hope I don't need one.

Our childbirth classes start next Wednesday night! I remember when I scheduled them it seemed so far away into the future. It's a little scary.

I'm still taking the stairs at work. I don't know how much longer I can do it. It's 90+ outside and the A/C doesn't seem to get to the stairwells.

I'm downing about 1/2 a gallon of skim milk per day. That's not an exaggeration. This baby better have strong bones from all this calcium! :)

I'm glad I've managed to stick around here and really watch my weight while pregnant. I know that if I had just turned a blind eye I could have easily gained 40-50 lbs like many of my friends have done during their pregnancies. Granted I still have 7 weeks to go and I guess there is the potential that I could gain a lot during that time period but I think I can manage 7 more weeks of not over-indulging.

Chris, you are doing a great job controlling your weight. You should be proud of yourself. Have a great Friday and better weekend!

watching your weight during pregnancy is important and you have done a great job... just remember at some point the baby will double it's weight in a short period of time ... so if the scale rises drastically.. it should be all baby.... your doing great... enjoy these last few weeks... I had babies in Jan, July and August and the summer ones were the hardest due to the heat... take care...
