I feel terrible! I always mess up on the weekends! Any tips on how to keep on the plan on Wednesday??

Hey…things that help me are making sure weigh day is Monday not Friday. Meal prepping so I don’t give in to those urges to want a take away. Gin and slimline tonic if I meet people as it’s only 80 calories, planning a hike with a friend for Saturday/Sunday (I don’t work weekends) and after a hike I definitely don’t want want to ruin my tracking. I hope these help you ☺️

So I do things a bit different to HellesBelles. I weigh on. Thursday because I allow myself more leeway on weekends and I don’t want to be discouraged by a short term blip. That’s not to say either is right but you have to find what works for you, and to do that you have to understand yourself, know how you are feeling when you make healthy choices and less healthy choices and put strategies in place to manage those feeings/behaviours. For me, habits work best. I like routines. Before I would have a glass of wine while making dinner and maybe something sweet after. That all adds up so now I hydrate instead, and after dinner I make a fruit tea. The more you do it, the more habitual it becomes and the easier it gets.
