I had freshly made donut holes on Saturday (I think it was Saturday) and they were so good, but not enough to drive to that store. they were plain glazed, still warm and smelled delicious. it was more about the experience including the smells. as long as I limit it to proximity visits and don't make frequent trips, it's all good.

Sorry Diablo, I didn’t mean to imply that your sweet tooth is anywhere near what mine was. If you’re sticking to a couple donuts, you’re doing great. Decades ago, if I brought home a box of Entenmann’s for a treat, it was gone within hours (8 of them)! I learned to just never buy them, or any other sweet. But my craving was always there until recently. Two of my siblings have the same problem, although the third doesn’t. I really wonder if my high insulin was the cause? Curious if anyone else had theirs tested? My doctors never checked it until I requested.

Nah, I had 6 donuts, these are just the first two. :D Gotta stay obese somehow.
