Change of schedule so I went to the gym in the morning.Felt strange working out in the AM and I couldn't quite get the same weight up for as many reps as I do in the evening.Maybe it's in my head, guess I will have get used to it though for now. Also did 30 minutes on the StairMaster.Drank a gallon of water and had a protein shake so still not hungry yet but plan on having a steak on the bbq for later.

Sounds like a good day! Important to keep the protein up!

The other day I went downstairs to my gym and went through my routine. I started the bench press. (Dumbbells, before you get on my case.) Man it was hard. I was grunting and groaning on it. I fought hard and won. I got my reps in and my shoulders and chest were really feeling it. I glanced at the dumbbells. I'd set them up 10 pounds heavier than they were 'supposed to be'. Guess I've been slackin'.

NM - LOL! That is good - see how you pushed yourself?

Northern that's awesome! Every pound and extra rep makes a difference. If you are cutting and were able to lift heavier than you thought what does that tell you? The mind is more powerful than we think!

One of my favorite Arnold quotes “The Mind Always Fails First, not the Body. The secret is to make your Mind work for You, not against You.”
