Dang!! I was so sure you had it! He pulled a Helen on everyone! I'm sure you've got it in the bag for the next one. Your boss will probably lose his motivation by the end of that one. 

Also, you did a great job and we're all proud of you. : )  

Shoot...I Hate when numbers come in that close. I know you were disappointed, but it's all good Jc, Chin up...you did an AWESOME job! Like FPLala said~~we're all Extremely PROUD of you!!! We're already rooting for you in this next challenge! WooHooo...and just in time for your (our) birthday :-) Mines is on 14 Sep! Go get 'em tiger...you got this! :-)  

Thanks everyone. Long day of meeting and listening to boss gloat :) I told him $25 was cheaper than $40/mo Weight Watchers so it was worth it!! Kind of takes the steam out of his sails that way. We still had a great time and it helps that all of us are focused and competing, keeps me motivated. I will take the next one and if not, I will just know that I reached my goal. I rec'd lots of compliments from those I haven't seen since last meeting in January. They all told Jim he should have conceded the win since the original final date was last week and I won as of then. We moved it one more week out since his wife was out of town last weeks original final weigh in unexpectedly. They also said to him that men, just have an unfair advantage. I now know how Tara felt, just a few dollars less than what she didn't week however :)  

Why that little *bleep*bleep*bleep* (excuse my French). No he didn't have the nerve to gloat! What a sore "winner"...and I use that word lightly (as I roll my eyes). If it wasn't for moving what Should have been the deadline, You would have won hands down. But noooo, thanks to accommodating Him, you end up missing it by a mere .63% and he gloats? Un-freakin-believable. If you wanted to, you could have cut your hair off and got that prize today. Even splitting the pot would have been a more fair option. Grrrr. Well, I'm just glad that others saw thru his (wink,wink) "win". I'm not far from where you live...you just let me know if you need me. We've been working out while losing this weight...and we can 'take him'. lol Seriously, tho, I'm glad you were able to take some of that hot air outta those sails of his. Good for You! We're gonna win this next one, Jc, so get ready...you'll be hearing from me often! :-) 

Today has been great. Boss keeps trying to brag to our Board members and they are just ignoring it :) Really deflating him more even. It has been a fun, fun contest and the fight is on now. One of my board members told him, hey you may have lost the most weight, but didn't help your looks any to my boss. So they are giving him hell too!!! I am curious his speech tonight what he says about it to the full board when he recognizes us. Truth be known, we are a very close office and he treats us like his kids. We had a great time with the competition and rivelry. Now...the fighting gloves are on. I will take it in the long run :) 

lol~~I had a feeling you guys were close! It really does sound like you work with an awesome group of people! :-) Thanks for putting up with my rant. I mean, it's not like he's on my Buddy List. lol Be sure to post what goes on tonight. He seems like a 'good' guy, but I'm still keeping my eye on him! You keep those gloves on~~~and remember, I'm just a phone call away! :-)
