Woah. That tasted amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed it. And now I've been miserable for the last 2 hours. Greek yogurt is supposed to be low lactose and I thought I could tolerate it but I was seriously wrong. I'll be going back to vegan yogurt tomorrow. I am so miserable right now.

I love Fage 5% plain Greek Yogurt. I mix it with a spoon of Torani Sugar Free Vanilla Syrup.

Back to vegan yogurt tomorrow. I'm glad you are listening to your body.

ps. Fage is lactose free.

Going vegan sounded so difficult, but being lactose intolerant makes it easier. I save the dairy for very rare moments involving pizza.

Sugarplum, I'll look for the Fage yogurt next time. Sounds like it might work out great. Thanks for the suggestion. For now I went with a 0 sugar vanilla cashew yogurt that caught my eye.

Justbananas, I am looking forward to eating pizza again after I get my cholesterol back where it belongs. Check out Brian Lagerstrom's Detroit style pizza YouTube video. I am going to be making it this weekend if my LDL numbers are back where they belong this Friday morning in celebration. That video is almost singlehandedly responsible for me gaining the 30lbs I gained during covid isolation (and have since lost.) That pizza is so d*mn good.

Just to be clear I won't be throwing my diet out the window. I'll just be celebrating with a slice of pizza. Still going to keep up my routine (exercise and calorie counting) and hit my target then I plan continue using what I've learned to maintain my weight and health.
