I did it!!! Officially at work weigh in 159.8!!! And that was fully dressed, which at home I normally weigh with little on :)

FINALLY OUT OF THE 160s. I have been stuck in the 160 something since April 6th. The flat belly detox really helped me to refocus my eating habits again. I had really let them go by the wayside a bit lately. This has refocussed my mind. Yes I can eat, been eating 1300-1400 calories daily, it was just what I have now been eating that has helped.

Excercise is the next beast to tackle. Just been go, go, go and won't be any better until after 3 pm June 12th. This week we are planning for our biggest Statewide 4-H Event, Texas Roundup. Starts Monday. Our board of directors come in Wednesday night. So will be very late evenings and really early mornings. Saturday...June 13th, I will probably just want to crash. It is a lot of fun, we spend all year leading up to this state wide competition and we award over $2.2 million in scholarship to young people for college. That is the moment that makes us most proud.

I feel like I have reached the top of the mountain and now I am ready to start climbing down!!!

WAY TO GO!!!! It is so fun to break into "new territory"!!! Congrats on figuring out it wasn't so much how many calories you were eating but the sources of those calories. Sounds like you have a lot on your plate ... keep it up!!!

Boss weighs in the morning. He missed last week b/c out of town. Today he had a meeting in Houston. I am curious where he's at. He was shocked I had lost 4 pounds since last week. Of course last week was TOM for me, so I made up for the 1 pound gain last week and lost, averaging me out to 2 pounds/week for the past 2 weeks. He's a bit worried now. We have a busy rest of this week and next so staying focused. We have all done an amazing job in the office. I can just hear my bosses speech to the board next week, there is no telling what he will say regarding this competition. Thanks for all the words of encouragement, pointers on being TOM (Lala), etc. It is a good feeling to reach that new level. I officially weigh Friday for WW so will redo my profile to see where that gets me points, I am already down to 22 :)

Way to go! Thanks for sharing your excitement. I needed some good news. What is flat belly detox?
04 Jun 09 by member: Suzanne2
Suzanne it is a diet that Prevention Magazine has endorced. You can google Flat Belly Detox and find some information. I bought the book actually. If you want to send me a message with your direct email I can send you the three pages which give you the 4 day detox days. It is a diet that incorporates good MUFAs (Mono Unsaturated Fats) into your diet. It is based on eating about 1200-1600 calories total a day, and eating 4 times per day.

When I started January the end looked so far away. Last night I told my husband I had finally gotten out of the 160s. He was excited for me. He asked if that was the lowest I had gotten the previous two years of dieting. I looked in my OB book and when I had my first appt at 8 weeks pregnant with my oldest son in 2001 I weighed 172. I have not been this low on the scales in over 8 years for sure, probably closer to 10. I pretty much gained weight after getting married in 1997. No more having to fit in the tight wranglers in college to go out on the town looking good :) While those college jeans will never fit the same again after two babies, I am excited about regaining control of my weight. Family weight struggle runs deep for me. It will always be something I have to monitor, but it has been so hard getting it off, I am hoping I am older and wiser and will keep it off long term this time.

awesome job! Congrats!! You can do it with the 5k...training isn't too bad and once you hit 3.1 miles on the treadmil, you're good to go for the race. When you're actually at the race, so much adrenaline is pumping, you'll be really surprised with how fast you go. Do you have a race on the books?

Wow, that must feel great to be lower than you've been in eight years. Congrats! Nice work.

Dianet, you dream will become reality soon. Diligence and percistance will pay off. I have had my ups and downs, but I never let the downs take over. I get back on the right path. I truly never thought I could be this far back New Year's Eve when I decided enough is enough. I have tried last year, but summer got me off track. This time I made a decision, I was not going to let setbacks take me back.

Nvrquit0383, I was hoping to run one June 24th "Polish Pickle Run", but my schedule may not permit. I am definitely doing the Mushroom Festival this Fall!
