Maybe reevaluate why having dinner at 8pm is important to you and how your actual schedule currently works for you? It’s theory vs practice, sometimes what we think is best for us can/should be adjusted to fit our reality.

The Fit for Life diet (remember that?) made the point years ago that your body will adjust to eating at unusual (to most of us) times throughout the day, as long as it’s more or less consistent. (Eg working nights 11:00 - 7:00 and having breakfast at 2:00 pm.) Made sense to me then and still does. 🙂

I want to to intermittent fasting from 8pm to 10am. I generally take breakfast at 10am. As far as I know intermittent fasting good for health.

If your work hours dictate that you eat at 10am, 3-4pm & 8-9pm, then that is the way you have to plan your meals, for weight loss & maintenance of your goal weight. There is nothing wrong with that. But you have a long stretch between 10am and 3pm, so I suggest that you bring a quick snack to eat at work about 1pm, like a boiled egg and raw vegetables, or apple slice & peanut butter. Heading home from work tired and ravenous...is asking for trouble. It will be too tempting to go off your plan and stop for fast food.
