I have a question? I have been on a diet for a long time does anyone else from here ever get just burnt out and just feel like quitting? some days when I get up I just don't feel like having to worry about what I'm going to eat if I'm going to gain a pound 😭 I know I have lost a lot of weight but just sometimes I don't know if it's all worth it the stress and the worry if I'm going to gain a pound cuz I ate something wrong! 😭

I developed diabetes so I can assure you that losing weight, eating healthy, and exercising are all worth it.

I'm still far from my ideal body silhouette and I've never wanted to stop. There is always a reason for gaining weight and losing weight. Everyone has a different caloric intake and PFC balance that is appropriate for losing weight. It would be great if we could find the ideal diet in a short period of time, but this is not realistic. There is always a way that suits you, so take your time and go slowly.✨ ▽<|b✨

@Morticia. I, too, developed type 2 diabetes so eating healthy is a lifestyle change that’s worth it. I still have 2 granddaughters I want to stay healthy for! 💜💚

A guidance counselor might help with your fears and feelings. All I can do is pray for you. Keep letting us know how you are feeling. Hugs

It's worth it. You are extending your life. Every thing you put in your mouth either helps you or hurts you - you are a warrior fighting for your future!

I agree with OatstheWhey. Split your goals and perhaps seek a coach of some kind if budget allows. If not, honestly just log everything you eat. It's like a job, but for your well being. I gained insight into how many calories I was eating with no activity at a sedentary stressful job. Almost 3k per day. Since my 1 year FS anniversary I can without a doubt say logging my food is the #1 thing that keeps me from gaining again.

Amen Brenda. I will go awhile doing really good with tracking food and calories and see no drop in weight. I remind myself that is not my main goal. I am losing my focus when I get wrapped up in that thought pattern. So I refocus. My goal is to lose body fat, to get my percent body fat down. I would love to be 15bs lighter on the scale, but that isn’t my main focus. Then I have a month and a half like the one that has just passed. I haven’t cared about much. I have been slack in working out, and I have eaten poorly. This has me putting off my body scan check in, my accountability, as I know my % body fat will be up. I just need to suck it up buttercup and get moving again, I need to get my focus back. Set you goal, what you want, not what others expect. If it’s weight loss, get back to it. If it is I want to feel comfortable wearing a medium clothes size, then focus on that. Pick your goal and go forward.

🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️ Almost 3 months of ups and downs on my diet. Got 4kg (9lb). Trying to be back on track as soon as possible. However, my carb addiction is back.
