CurvyCrystal's Journal, 27 May 09

I am very excited about my recent weight loss, but I have been feeling very sluggish lately. I skipped all but 1 class yesterday to go take a nap, and even after that 3 hour nap, I had to DRAG myself off the couch to walk my client's dog. Then we walked for a few minutes before I decided to crash on a park bench. I did do my 5k training in the evening, but I cut it a bit short (just the cool down) because I ran into some other dogs that wanted to play with the dog I was walking.
Today I took the kids I watch for a walk to the park right down the street and the walk back (all up a slight hill) seemed to drain me. I don't understand why I am so run down! I'm glad I've still been able to push myself to go jogging and stuff, but I'm sick of always feeling like I need a nap! I stayed up till 2am a few nights ago, but I've gotten a decent amount of sleep since then, so i shouldn't bee this slow! It's very frustrating.
I've also been feeling very snacky lately. Usually I'm fine if I just have a small snack a few hours after each meal, but lately I just seem to be craving snacks 24/7. I have resisted enough to stay within my points, but I still want to control them better.
On the bright side, I've eating lots of veggie sushi lately. It's healthy, and VERY low in points, so I can can eat larger portions and stay within my points. It's a life saver!

Veggie sushi sounds delish, do you have a recipe for them? Sounds healthier than my earlier snack... 3 musketeers bar for 5! But, totally worth it... :-)

I do know how to make veggie sushi. It's actually really easy, it just takes a while to cook the rice and then the hardest part is learning how to roll it right lol. But there are a lot of sushi places around here, and one of my favorites is RIGHT down the street from my boyfriends house so we go there a lot. There's only half a point in each piece!
