Yesterday I spent the day with Ian. We went out walking and shopping. We finally got ourselves a flat screen/wide screen TV. We *really* wanted one with 1080p and 120Hz (we watch A LOT of movies) but we couldn't afford the size we wanted with all those options. I mean, what's the point of having an amazing TV to watch your movies on if it's no bigger than your computer monitor? Or smaller? Anyway, we sucked it up and got the size we wanted. (Just 32" - anything too much larger would dominate the whole living room and I would feel like I was living inside the TV!)

Everything was going well until we got home. Then our digital cable box crapped out. Our DVD player doesn't have HDMI. The VCR is missing its AV cables.

So we sucked it up and hooked up the Wii and ordered pizza.

The TV does look nice though...
