Hang in there Judyb40! I ate too much salt(sodium) yesterday and the scale bounced up 2 lbs. It took me 2 weeks to lose those 2 lbs. Today, I'm avoiding salt and drinking extra liquids: tea, water, clear diet soda--all sodium-free. If you are exercising, then keep in mind that 1)muscle weighs more than fat; and 2) if your muscles are "sore" then they will retain water for 24-48 hrs or until soreness resolves. Congratulations on making a positive life decision to embrace Atkins, and for already losing 9 lbs!
