yes working those night shifts is tuff, but maybe you can do some healthy snack prep meals at home then bring it to work with you so you won't be tempted to eat the bad stuff. I wish you the best on your journey.

I work nights as well so can totally relate! You're making great strides towards your goal. Your self awareness and popcorn over sweets was a good idea especially because the fiber in popcorn should keep you a little more satiated than say a candy bar.
I've had good luck tracking calories, so maybe just check nutrition labels and if they are close , I personally go with the crave.

Night worker too… when I’m working I just eat all my calories for the day… the food I bring to work is a lot … but it keeps me on plan that way the snacks I eat at 0400 are the ones I packed

That is tough— I worked nights for a year once— we all did it, at sugar to stay awake. I wish I had an answer, but I don’t. It’s very tough. What kind of work?
