Well, I went a little nuts this weekend... but not with food thankfully! With adorable baby girl clothes. I went to visit my parents in Delaware. They live near some fantastic outlets (Rehobath Beach, if anyone is familiar). They had Carter's, Gymboree, OshKosh, and babyGap. We had a bunch of Visa giftcards from our wedding. I went through two of them and still owed like $40 out of pocket by the time I was done. I tried to get stuff 9 months and above b/c I think a lot of our coworkers/friends will get us smaller sized items as presents. I guess the nesting thing is started to hit me b/c I organized her closet by size and the dresser drawers in terms of months also (0-3 mo., 3-6 mo., etc).
We did a lot of walking around the various stores so that was a good thing to try to keep the weight in check. I'm getting up there in lbs though. For awhile I was trending below where my weight gain should be to maintain the 25 lb gain (healthy). Now I weigh exactly what it says I should weigh at this point based on my starting weight: 155.
I'm having the worst time sleeping. I think I was up every 2 hours last night. And I have a paper due by 7:30 PM tonight. And I'm at work right now. So... it's going to be a long day. Exams start in exactly 1 month. I'm glad. I can't wait til they are over so I can enjoy the summer and paint the baby's room, put the crib together with Salem, decorate, etc. without worrying about studying and what assignment is due next.

I hated it when I got the to 20 week mark, and I was no longer allowed to sleep on my belly - I can't fall asleep unless I'm on my belly! It was hell! Anyway, glad you had a good time shopping - I've always wanted to go to those outlets! Have a great day, and don't worry to much about the paper, it will all get done.

Hi Chris! It must be so much fun to shop baby clothes, especially for a little girl! Your day sounds long and busy, I hope you can get the paper done. Do you think you can't sleep because of the pregnancy or because of all the things you have to think about, school, work, etc...? Have a good day!

How exciting!!! I'm not even thinking about getting preggers anytime soon, but I often find myself looking at all the adorable baby girl clothes! You're a lucky lady...Hopefully you sleep better tonight though :)

Sounds like you had a great time! If I had a baby girl I would really be in trouble..with buying all the adorable little outfits. So hard to resist! So much fun! Hope you can get some much needed rest! Have a wonderful week!

You are a very busy lady and soon to be busier but I know you will enjoy it so much. Buying girl clothes is so much fun. They have such cute stuff. I used to love it. Sounds like you're doing great with your weight too. Great job Chris. Good luck on those exams. Hope you are able to get some sleep. I'm sure you could use it.
