Does vaping cause weight gain? I am trying to quit but it’s very hard, but I’m finding it so hard to lose weight at the moment I just don’t understand why I am exercising every day eating meals that I’ve got loads of vegetables and nutrients in them and with one of my meals I have a meat substitute as I am vegetarian and eating a lot of protein to help with my energy for working out. I have literally cut down on all sugary drinks except from natural fruit juice which by the way I don’t drink every day but I’m just not losing weight And was wondering if you can could be causing me not to be able to lose any more

I wouldn't have thought so because it's not a physical food or liquid. fruit juice can be packed with calories just looked at my partners carton of breakfast juice and the whole carton has 396 calories. are you calories counting? what's your daily limit? are you exercising or walking? I write down everything I set and drink and weigh and measure everything. I don't try and guess what I'm eating as I will probably be well off. I also keep the dairy to look back if I have a good or bad week and what it was I ate and drank. I also have ine for exercise too. try sainsburys no added sugar orange and nags squash. really nice 👌 and witbout the calories

Okay thank you so much, I do A lot of walking because I am at uni and our campus is actually huge, I don’t tend calorie count as I know that gets really hard for me so I tend to stay away from that. But I always do a one hour hit training session, I do swimming three days a week with about two hours each day and then I sometimes do a morning workout at my flat so I genuinely don’t know what’s going wrong

i would perhaps buy a fit tracker watch, i bought one just to count my daily calories. i aim for 10,000 steps a day. you can buy cheap ones on amazon for about £15. it sounds like you are doing quite alot of exercise so it may be your intake, say on this app it says to me i can have 2400 calories a day, i need to make a deficit of 500 a day, so daily my allowance is 1800 a day. the deficit should help however if you are not counting calories its going to be impossible for you actually know how much you are eating / drinking. it can be tedious but try to write it down even if its for a few days to start with so you can see roughly how many you are having. alsong as you are having less than your daily allowance and keep moving and remove about 500 calories of what the app has told you, you can have daily it should start to come off.

I found vaping stopped me losing weight. It affects your hormones and makes you stressed (cortisol) which can cause your body to hang onto fat. It can also affect how you digest your food if you vape around dinner time.
