Saw the doc again yesterday. I know he sees lots of people and can't remember everybody, but all he has to do is look at his notes from my last visit so that he's up to speed on why we're getting together. Apparently that's too much to ask. We checked my blood test results and everything is nicely improved from last time and at normal healthy levels. He was interested in knowing why that was and I had to remind him about the weight loss. Once I told him, he did take an interest in what I was doing and offered some suggestions.
I'm kind of a do it yourself person when it comes to this type of thing. I really just need him to identify any issues that I have. I can do the research and figure out how to fix it from there. If there's something I can't fix myself, then that's where I'll need to consult with him. So far he's been adequate for that type of care.
I'll continue to ask around and see if there's anybody who people think is really good. If I find someone better I'll check it out but for now since I don't have any significant issues I don't think I need to make this a very high priority.

Oh yeah, I loved my last doctor visit, it was like having to detail my day to day to prove that I was losing healthily. It's taken me how long, I'm not exactly racing through this thing. So glad to hear things are improving internally though, that's fantastic.
