OK, here goes, I do not usually journal often because I think I'm pretty boring in the diet/health and fitness world. But I realized that I enjoy reading about everyone else's life stories that have nothing to do with what they're eating and how much they're exercising. This last 24 hours have been one of the most stressful times I can remember. It is all over something so insignificant that it should not have been a blip on the radar but it has blown up into a huge confrontation. We requested that our son's school schedule be changed to allow a different class at the end of the day since he frequently has to miss that last hour for orthodontic appts and various out of school activities (and honestly, the teacher that was assigned to this class is a poor instructor on multiple levels). The school counselor had to clear it with the principal who flipped out when we requested the change. Seriously is it such a huge ordeal to change the class schedule of an 8th grader? I have had some awesome teachers and I have had some really crappy ones too but the amount of effort and stress this situation has caused is unreal.
