It never should be dieting, just healthy food choices. I remember my endo doc telling me to stop losing weight. But I forgot that the goal was giving my body clean proteins, mineral rich vegetables and heathy fats for a limited about of seeds and nuts. Your body is already facing a crisis with your thyroid being off, just give it the love it needs. Best with the treatment plan, I here to tell you it does get better.✨

Thanks for the support and hope today is starting the week well. Do you have temperature regulation issues? Even if my meds are now balances perfectly, one moment I’m freezing the next like I have a fever. Anyway hope you get to an even point soon.

Thyroid issues are tricky to get under control. You don't have to diet but there are certain foods you should stay clear of. You can Google it. I hope you get it under control. Sometimes it takes awhile.

You don’t have to leave FS and you don’t have to “diet” for weight loss particularly until approved by your doctor, but, if you want to stick around use the program to monitor your nutrition to make sure you are eating the amount and types of foods recommended by your medical team.

I have thyroid issues too. I'm on meds for it. I do agree with Kenna. It's always good to monitor your health in all aspects of it, especially when you have thyroid issues

Your health is the most important thing! I like what others have said about not dieting but staying on FS. Maybe you could calc the maintenance calories and aim for that. Take care and I hope you're feeling better soon!

Hope you are feeling better and that you can get your T3 under control. I had to look up "thyroid storm" because I had never heard of it. I had (have) Graves Disease and an over active thyroid but medication brought it under control. No specific diet was recommended to me.
