A new low on the scale today. Always nice to see.
Saw the doc a couple weeks ago and he suggested I could loose some weight. Then gave me some generic handouts on how to eat better. Good to see that he's on top of things.

He didn't notice. I'm not quite sure what kind of doctor I want. This one is kind of just going to check stuff off on the normal list of things to check, fix what's wrong, and mind his own business. On the other hand I could find one that takes an active interest in how I'm doing and attempts to stay on top of things. I think I know of one in the latter category so I may look at switching.

sounds like a plan to me. Nothing gave me a boost as much as having my doctor give me a serious cheer when I went to see her last April and she could see the difference. She took an active interest in what I was doing, why I was doing it, how I was doing it...and helped me fine tune things so I could get to my goal (the 150 lbs by Memorial Day) in time. I'm really lucky, she's an awesome doctor. And I think the best part about her is that she realizes she doesn't know everything. She is willing to learn from her patients.
I hope you can find one who is proactive in helping you out too.
