This pedometer I just got is pretty sweet. Most days when I'm in the house I cant even hit 4000 steps lol but when I do my runs I can hit about 7-8000. What's the deal with hitting 10,000 steps a day anyway? I walked around the national mall today and I also went for a run. At 530 I'm at 11774 steps. woooo lol I got an Omron GOsmart pedometer (?? just reading what's on the actual thing) off amazon. I just thought it would be interesting to see how many steps I actually take. I like this thing because it Shows your regular steps, then your aerobic steps, the calories youve burned, and how far you've gone. It was super easy to set up. I find it slightly difficult to run with it only because the clip isn't super heavy duty but I'm sure you can buy one if that's a huge issue. It does have a looped string thing for it that I just tether to my belt loop or - to be candid - my underpants when I run and it's a non-issue. It was like $15 maybe? I don't remember but it's a pretty cool thing. comes with it's own battery so no worries there. It resets itself at midnight every night and it has a weeks worth of numbers in its memory for you to look at (I beleive) I don't really use this feature yet so I'm not compeltely sure but it's a cute light blue, pretty small so it can fit in any pocket, even skinny jeans, and so far it's been pretty durable. I've dropped it on pavement a few times haha. Anyway, hope everyone has a great week!
