Well, I am fighting the munchies today. I think TOM must be around the corner b/c I am eating too much. I had a healthy dinner and will have a 2 pt. WW bar tonight for a snack, so am good there, but ate too much today! I'm hoping not to show a gain for Thursday's weigh in. I am fighting a cold and hardly have a voice, so I won't be able to work tomorrow as my main job is to answer the phone. I can hardly talk. This happens often when I have a cold. It's not the week for it with lots of choir singing for Easter coming up. I so hope it gets better. I am also worn out so not exercising right now. I probably will tomorrow morning though. If you haven't seen, I posted my results and pictures of my 5K on my last journal. I feel good about it and averaged a 9.59/min mile. I do want to do another 5K soon. It was a lot of fun to run with all those people (577) and was really motivating to keep you moving forward. I am going to plan to do a sprint triathlon in July so will start up a training schedule again for that, and then next I think I will shoot to do a 10K. It is really helpful to have "a carrot dangling out in front of you" as someone said once to keep you working toward the next thing. Hope you all are doing well.

Sorry you're under the weather. I hope the cold skeedaddles soon! One of these days I'll try a 5K. Not quite yet, though. :) Feel better!

I relate to the old carrot analogy. I employ that strategy with special events such as weddings, trips, festivals, and college reunions. These social events are not -- of course -- athletic events but I still "train" for them -- in a manner of speaking! Good luck! Now - get going!
