Here is my thing: eating healthy (no carbs mainly veggies) is CRAP. Food does not taste as good and I know there are people out there that say “hello have you tried seasoned cauliflower and avocado toast?” and the answer is NO, no I have not and I will not! The truth is that healthy foods (while good) for you, unfortunately do not satisfy you. I like my pizza, I like my pastas but after eating these high carb food I also feel like crap. So what I’m basically saying is….. where is the frigging middle ground!!?!?!

I know what you mean. I still feel that the triangle of 33% protein, 33% carb, and 33% fat is what we should be eating. So, yes that includes carbs. I know how you feel after eating carbs. Pasta and pizza is so delicious that you can't just have 1 serving. But, maybe try to reduce the quantity and see if that starts to help. For example, have 1 bowl of pasta and don't go for seconds. For myself, I feel my stomach bloating after eating too much and then it takes a couple of days for my stomach to settle back down. I have to eat a small bowl in order to feel just OK. Pasta has lots of energy, so it doesn't take a huge amount to give you lots of calories. That's what makes it a good survival food too. :) As for pizza, do you make your own? Homemade, with quality ingredients is much better for you. The take out has too much trans fats, and that's a killer. Cheers.

I agree and I’ll try home made pizza. I usually order didn’t realize there was so much trans fat. I am also trying to eat less and count my calories using this app. My problem is I visually see myself getting slimmer but the number on the scale is not changing so it’s fraustrating!!
