Didn't quite reach 160s today, but I am ok with that. TOM is coming up and this is my bloat week. I really noticed it yesterday. My WW weigh in was 170.2. 24.6 pounds since January 5th. While I would love to see 16... on the scales. 24.6 is still something to celebrate. I will hit there next week.

I am starting this morning along with my sister and parents, the 4 day Anti Bloat Flat Belly Diet. My sister and I are trying to find a diet plan or folks can follow. Mom and Dad both seemed to like this concept of eating, so we said we'd do the 4 Day AntiBloat with them. It is a 1200 calorie a day diet, eating 4 - 300 calorie meals. You eat a MUFA (Monounsaturated Fat) food with every meal you eat. Supposed to help with belly fat loss. We'll see how it goes. The meal plans seem very filling so hopefully my folks can do it. They both have over 100 pounds to lose. Dad has a bad heart and developed Type II diabetes recently. I am hoping this will help them get on track!

Home with sick Travis again today. 2 year checkup Monday, then Wednesday started running high fever. His ear infection was back. He ran fever all day and through the night. I did get in some treadmill time yesterday being home which was nice. Watched Twilight movie will walking on treadmill. Husband and son were at our County Stock Show. Wind blew really hard here in Texas, felt like I lived out in West Texas rather than Central/East yesterday. Didn't get to spend much time outside with puppies. Poor girls. Hopefully this weekend will be nice. I plan to pick up house and maybe bring them in and bathe them this afternoon.

Well, gotta run. Travis is waking up. Have to finish getting Nathan ready for school. Normally at this time I am already on the road heading to work.

Congrats on your huge loss in such a little amount of time (really it is) it is great to hear that you are still motivated to keep going. Good luck with the diet and let us know how you feel during it. I wish I could do the same type of thing with my parents (they are both really overweight also). but, their motivation to lose weight is not there and therefore, no one can help them until they are ready.

I feel your pain with parents. Neither of mine have their heart in it either, but this week after seeing me at Travis' birthday they have a little motivation, so we are trying to keep the fire lit. Mom just says, why, I am almost 59. Her mother watched what she ate her entire life, now she has Alyzeimers and doesn't know any of us. Mom made the comment that Granny should have just enjoyed her food becuase now she doesn't know what she eat. I reminded her that still Granny is happy in the nursing home. She smiles when we visits, sings her songs, etc. Yes she's in a different world, but still. Also, her dad lived to be 83. Might not have done that if Granny hadn't stayed on him regarding his weight. He did gain once Granny's mind left us. Unfortunately it is a genetic thing and we just have to change our minds. I told mom I was not telling her she could never have cheetos again, just not an entire full size bag in one sitting :)
