Got through the weekend without a gain despite going out for dinner on Saturday and having nachos yesterday. (Chips with melted American cheese, salsa, and jalapenos on top. :P)

Started my running workouts Saturday. The running part felt good. No soreness after and no joint issues so that bodes well. My shoes sucked though. I have another pair of running shoes I'll try and if those don't work either, it's off to the running shop for a fitting. I plan on doing that anyway but I've been putting it off until I started running. Guess that means it's time.

Watched a couple episodes of Heavy over the weekend. Looks like a pretty interesting show. They usually touch on it a little, but it would be interesting to see how these people eat before they get started on the show.

nothing makes a bad run go better than a good pair of shoes. Glad to hear that the joints and such held up to it all!
I've seen a couple of the Heavy episodes. More than how they eat, I'm intersted in WHY "we" eat in any kind of abnormal manner. That's why I'm always so perplexed and fascinated by the behaviors of my father. How many grown men behave the way he does? Why does he do these things? What is the actual root/driving force behind the ultimate behaviors? It's all very confusing and frustrating to me and so I am constantly trying to "understand" it. Much to my own frustration.
