Do I have to stop eating potatoes for weight loss?

You don’t have to stop eating anything.

When you start to think of losing weight, most of the people will get type of suggestions like stop eating rice, chapatis and potatoes. See you don’t have to stop eating anything. You literally can lose weight eating anything but I specially chose potatoes because there are misconceptions towards this particular food.

Funny part is potatoes are fat loss friendly. I know I know you guys won’t believe but that is true. Try eating 200 gms of potatoes, you wont be able to move from your place. THAT is thing. Potatoes have the highest satiety compared to all the foods. Potatoes will make you feel full fast and keep you satisfied for longer period of time. I was also in this misconception thay I need to stop eating potatoes and that made me so sad coz that was my staple food for most of my life.

You can even add potatoes as a source of carbs in your daily diet and don’t worry, it is so hard to over eat potatoes . Never demonise anu food for the sake of weight loss. There is no food out there the moment you stop eating and you will start losing more weight or faster weight loss.

I wanted to ask that if we add any junk food or oily food sometimes in our diet but within daily calorie intake acc. to RDI, then will it work for weight loss??

@NoopurDabi, ABSOLUTELY 100% YES...u can eat junk all day and still lose weight, NOT RECOMMENDED though, but definitely u can lose weight🙂
