Hi, as you’ve now switched to vegan, your body might be able to absorb the carbs more effectively, so maybe don’t go so low carb, and try and eat protein rich ones like lentils.

Eva Aves hi 👋🏼 I am not sure i am the one to give advice. But nevertheless I can share my experience. For me it is easier to stick to more strict diet. Dunno why. Eating 1200 kk is easier for me than 1900 kk ( my pt told me to eat 1900 kk with 200 gr of carbs including eating pasta rice etc). Eating pasta and rice left me wanting more. Right now i keep carbs around 100 gr -150 gr. I avoid pasta rice etc and eat mostly vegetables berries beans tofu. Dont really know if it is right but it works for me 🙂

Wow been a vegan must be hard, good luck on your new diet. I too have a huge sweet tooth.. so if I don't stop I'm putting on 2lbs a week in two months it will be a stone. So I need to work hard. My clothes are too nice to buy new ones. Have a wonderful day. Merry Mel.

In general it looks like it is just about educating yourself about nutrition so you can get all needed elements. 🙂 And you can always use meat substitutions and tofu of course. I am vegan and its easier now as I know what to avoid and what to eat. Dark chocolate can curb sugar cravings, plus there are vegan sweets if you look out and accidentally vegan goodies. It gets easier and cuts out a lot of stuff that is calorific!
