Just signed up for a Color Me Rad 5k run. It's not til October so maybe by then I can actually run instead of walk like the last 5k I did. Anyone participated in one of these before? My coworker and good friend has said its a lot of fun and you get doused with all different colors (cornstarch) throughout the event. I'm looking toward the future and staying active!

I have not, but I aspire to. There is one in Cleveland in October that I would like to sign up for if I can get the extra cash. I have been training for a 5k for a while now, starting to feel like I might actually be prepared lol. Have fun with it!

Thanks, Yolanda. My friend told me that last year she and her friend walked the event and only ran thru the part where they throw the powder on you. So, I'll participate no matter what and see how much of it will be jogging versus walking.
