Hello All, today I attempted to go to the gym, I did get there and made it through 20 minutes of the Elliptical machine. Well that was all it took for me, I am still not up to par yet. Still coughing, and let me tell you, my nose It feels like it is going to fall off from so much blowing. Anyway, I am glad you all had a great weekend, I ate a very small bowl of ice cream yesterday, and today I wanted just a few chips with my sandwich and got them. I do believe I have had enough salt today. Hope you all have a great day.

Sorry you are sick but good job getting in what you could. It takes a lot of motivation to exercise when you don't feel well. Once you are feeling better you will get back to where you want to be. It is more important to get healthy, then pick back up with the exercise. You'll just drag things out longer if you push too hard!

Twenty minutes is still good though! That machine kicks my butt! I can barely do 10 minutes on a good day, lol!

You didn't attempt to go to the gym. You DID go to the gym (even though you weren't feeling great). Yea you!

Thank You Sue, Jess, Charles, and bettereveryday. I came home ate a good lunch and have been outside ever since. Trying to get ready for a big yard sale this Saturday, I am selling plants, and of course I have to dig them up and put them all in pots first. Pretty tired now, think I may lay down for a few minutes. Have a good one all.

YAY, You! I didn't even exercise all last week when I was sick (just laid around and tried to breathe). I got up to cook...but that was it. Today, Leslie Sansone and I hit the floor again. I'm still coughing a little but it felt great to exercise. :D

Lower the intensity so your breathing doesn't cause you to cough. Slowly work your way back to the intensity you want to work at.

Good for you for getting to the gym! Don't over-do though. Being sick will suck the energy right out of you. I'm betting too that you get quite a workout doing everything you do every day out in your garden. Hope your plant sale is a great success!

I hope you're feeling 100% soon! Keep working back up to your normal routine and you'll be back there in no time. I agree with Vickie, the gardening can be it's own workout. :)
