Comments
1. Peel 2-3 cucumbers and chop off both ends of each
2. Use a cleaver to smash cucumbers until they crack open (seriously), and then slice as shown
3. Throw cucumbers in a large bowl and add salt, mix until even
4. Wait 10-15 mins, pour out the liquid in the bowl
5. Mince 5 garlic cloves, in a small bowl, mix garlic with light soy sauce, light or dark vinegar (be generous), sugar, salt, and sesame oil (be generous)
6. Pour sauce on cucumbers and stir until every piece is coated
7. Pour out any excess sauce, and top with parsley/peppers (optional)
8. Transfer to plate and serve
