Good News and Meh News

Today is weigh in Wednesday because I like alliteration and I was getting scale obsessed and decided a once a week date with my scale would have to suffice. Unfortunately, my scale is stuck in the past. Not a budge since my last weigh in which happened to be last Saturday.
Fortunately, I did find my tape measure so I will also be measuring on Weigh In Wednesday although if I'm going to stick with the alliteration theme it should be Measure on Monday, but nah, that's taking it a bit far.

Measurements for Feb 2:


Chest--41"

Waist--36.5"

Hips (ugh)--45.5"

Thigh--27"

Upper Arm (the guns)--13"


First, the Meh news: No weight loss since Saturday.

Now the Good news: I have lost 7 pounds since I started. I haven't gained any at all. I haven't had any alcohol for 10 days. I haven't cheated. Not even once even though temptation is Ehhhhheverywhere.
I feel 100% better than I have in ages. I'm way more energetic. I don't want to take a nap in the afternoon and actually feel refreshed when I wake up in the morning which has never happened. I'm learning tons about the way the body works and why eating fat DOES NOT make you fat.

Today the enthusiasm level is about an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10.

I also got my walk in fairly early today and it's an absolutely gorgeous day and I got to see a raccoon eating cat food.

Well at least you aren't gaining, staying the same isn't a bad thing it could be that you are just getting used to all the changes. Keep up the work and you will see the change soon!

Thanks Pixi-Honestly, I am loving the way I feel with this way of eating so that's a huge bonus. My husband is pretty happy too because I'm not sniping at him as soon as he walks through the door. At least I let him take off his shoes and sit down first.
