for those who have been asking... my community theatre group is doing 'a midsummer night's dream' and i have been cast as nick bottom, one of the group referred to as the 'rude mechanicals'. the play is, perhaps, the funniest of shakespeare's comedies and bottom is a very large and broadly comic part. my wife is also in the show but we only share one scene, so, for now, we're going to rehearsals alone. the schedule is going to be a bit tight on days i work. i do 12 hour shifts, from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, and rehearsals are usually around 7:00 pm, so it's a bit rushed to get changed and fed in half an hour... stormed here last night, okay so far today and supposed to warmup a bit. think it's going to be a rowing machine day, though. hope all of y'all are having good ones...
